I was contacted for a phone interview. At the time of the interview, the person never called me. I emailed them to follow up with no response. 30 minutes after my scheduled interview time, I received a call stating that there was some issue with their server and that's why they were late. They asked if I could still hold the interview. I agreed because I wanted the position obviously despite the inconvenience. I spoke with the woman interviewing me for about 10 minutes. She asked if I had any experience with epilepsy patients, and I was honest and said no. Her tone shifted and she ended the interview immediately after that. I was disappointed with this interaction because the job description did not list that as a requirement. I was told I would receive a follow-up but I never did. I understand they would want that experience, but they should make it explicitly clear in the job description rather than saying it was not required.
