      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Dec 2012

      Interview

Saw the position posted on my university careers website, submitted my resume. Got an email pretty quickly about a phone interview, which was a 30-minute chat with an employee where basically he told me about his job. Wasn't much of an interview, I think the only question he asked me was why I wanted to work at Epic. Got another email pretty soon after that they wanted an on-site interview. Flew me to Madison, put me up at the Hilton (very nice), all expenses paid. Interview day was very streamlined, and you can tell that they do this on a large scale - I think there were something like 50-100 other interviewees just on that one day. Most of my interview day consisted of talking to employees in a group with 5-10 other interviewees and taking computerized assessments. I only had 1 interaction I would call an interview, and it was extremely informal. It was a "case study" where I had to tell the interviewer how I would prioritize a task list that I was presented with. Then I got some soft questions about how I deal with conflict, and that was it (entire interview was about 25 minutes). I got a job offer a few weeks later. Basically the impression I got is that they're rapidly growing and basically hiring anyone that walks in the door. I really don't think they have an impression of me as a person or potential employee, yet they're offering me a job anyways.

      Question 1

What would you do if you had a good friend on your team who wasn't pulling their weight?
      Answer question

      I interviewed at Epic

      Interview

Phone interview with someone in the role followed by aptitude based exam. After scoring sufficiently on aptitude exam, more recruiter interviews and on-site visit. The recruiter/phone interviews were fairly standard and aptitude exam is something you have to just go in blind to
