      Management Trainee Interview

      Application

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility in Dec 2010

      Interview

Did the phone interview and it went well, It was a screening more than anything else. The one thing to note from the phone interview is how much the company actually values sales (make sure to make an impression there, because the 1:1 in person interviewer communicates back and forward with the phone interviewer). After the phone interview, they schedule you for an actual 1:1 person interview in their main local offices. The interview started with a short video that was focused on selling you the company and how easy it is to actually grow from one position to the next. The video was very fast-passed and energetic, I assume it's to get you in a specific mood for the interview. The video lasted about 15 minutes, soon after that is over the HR manager came into the room and led me to her office. She was a very nice lady, the interview lasts about 30 minutes and there were lot of question regarding sales and customer service. I would say about 60% sales, 30% customer service and 10% other type questions. Be very sure of your answers and make sure you have enough sales stories to vary things a little. I believe my errors were related with reading too much and letting her know about it. I think I read every page in this site about 3 times and practiced way too much. If you're the kind that does research, make sure you keep that to yourself. I believe that they want to see your raw side, they know that you know how to do research (you have a college degree after all). They want to meet your other side, the one that knows how to react under pressure and does not have all the answers premeditated already. They want to see how you relate to other people, say hello to as many people as you can and try to start small talk (weather, weekend, holidays, ect). BE FRIENDLY, sell yourself as a great sales person. Be yourself!!!!! I think I was too stressed to be myself, so that might of affect my interview a little. Don't give them too much information regarding aspects of your life that don't relate to this job (other career plans, ect). The interview is easy, but it seems very repetitive, the same question just rephrased differently and it's very difficult to find new material and not sound very repetitive. There is one thing, I do agree with people about the company and the type of people that they are looking for. I don't want to be cruel, but I think they look for good looking people. Make sure you get a haircut and get your face shaved (if you're a guy, lol), go and buy a SUIT and get it fitted, buy shoes that match the suit. Be at your very best, dress for success, like someone said, a bad pair of shoes could cost you this job. Don't let other people turn you down, this might be the career opportunity of your life, specially considering the economy. Yes there's a lot hard work, and they use you a lot during the beginning of your time there. But they will teach you every aspect of running a business and make sure you learn it well. In addition to that, if you are from this generation, you should be used to hard work by now. So stop rejecting job offers and just go for it, the worst thing that can happen is that you hate it and quit. I haven't been called for a third interview yet, but I am keeping the hope that they still might. It been a few weeks since the interview.

      Interview

There were 3 rounds the first was easier the last one. That one was much more thorough and a little bit more challenging for certain questions. I felt a bit stumped, however they were all fairly aligned with the typical interview questions. Overall good but just be prepared

Smooth and took about 2 weeks to complete. They're really interested in your ability to work in a fast paced environment and your ability to deal with an irate customer. It's a sales job after-all.
