      Management Trainee Interview

      Oct 3, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Riverside, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Riverside, CA) in Mar 2011

      Interview

You want to show that you are competitive and fun, and that you are very trainable. Always wear a suit to every interview. Smile a lot, and be friendly. The first interview is a phone interview, show your competitive side and how personable you are. Get ready to give experiences of a difficult customer service situation (that you over came), and sales accomplishments. The second interview is with the recruiter. WEAR A SUIT. Again, be personable and show a huge interest in the company. If you played sports, tell them about it (they'll ask a lot of questions about your personal life) because Enterprise believes that if you played sports you're competitive. Assure them of your sales success, great customer service and ability to learn. The third/fourth interview will come next. You'll spend 2 hours in the branch observing before the interview. WEAR A SUIT. Ask all the employees about their experience and shadow them. This shows that you really want the job. Then you'll meet with the area manager. Most of the same questions from the recruiter interview. You need to not bore them, but not weird them out. If you pass with them, then you meet with the branch manager. If you don't meet with the branch manager, you didn't get the job. The branch manager will ask the same questions as the area manager. Make them laugh, show competitiveness and your winning personality. After you leave, you'll hear from the hiring manager within a week about whether you got it or not.

      Interview

More conversational than a typical interview style making it much more in depth and interesting. As a candidate you also get to know how the person across you made it to where they are now, using the same trainings you would eventually learn.

What would you do differently than other potential candidates to become an amazing MT.

      Interview

It was an average difficulty interview with the most standard, basic questions. The interviewer had a deadpan, annoyed face and looked and sounded like she didn't want to be there. I didn't prepare for it and didn't pass, but I don't think most people will have a problem if they just prepare beforehand
