I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at English 1 (Auckland, Auckland) in May 2020
Interview
Questions were How do you deal with classroom discipline? What age do you prefer teaching. There seems to be a demand for Kindergarten teachers. They explain that you do not teach at one school, but several and will need to travel a lot. They warn that some days you could be out of your flat for quite a few hours. They don't pay for the summer break but did say that they will help to find you work if you want to stay in Russia.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at English 1 (Bandung, West Java) in Jan 2026
Interview
I was interviewed for english teacher position. The interview process is Complicated and long waiting, it has 2/3 steps as I remember including the practical class. then they disappeared to give a reply.
It was a quick and easy process i was asked the usual questions, why? Experience? Behaviour management? And then told to create a mock activity lesson (i was given a prompt on what to do). It was super easy!

Question 1
You get told to watch a video on class being taught and you have to explain whats going on?
The recruiter was polite, but standoff-ish. She a little rude when asked questions and the interview was rushed, as she said she overbooked herself, so therefore, she didn't want for me to waste her time with questions. Pretty unprofessional in my opinion.
