An outsourcing recruiter on LinkedIn reached out to me, and then I was sent multiple questions to answer. Then I was invited by an intro call for 1 hour. We both joined the call, but I decided not to proceed with the following steps.
Pros
Can't think of any. To be honest
Cons
- No interview Agenda, Intgervier spent 30 minutes talking about the company (I could pre-read this).
- I got the sense multiple times there was a wrong impression about me before the interview, which means the intro call was an excellent chance to clear these things up.
Instead, I didn’t get a chance to do this, and their wrong impressions lasted until the end of the interview.
- Frequently mentioning, “Multiple candidates are in the pool and that they have more urgency to join,” and “The interviewer has influence in the hiring decision," contributes to building a wrong impression about how a company treats their employees.
