The interview process was so pathetic. I was called for an interview. I was asked to travel to a different district for a face-to-face interview, even though there was an option for a virtual interview. I was given both options, but the recruiter strongly suggested opting for the face-to-face interview process. The interview went for 1 hour, and the questions were easy for me, which is entirely based on project management. I was under the impression I did well, as I received positive feedback after the interview and also the hiring manager did not give any signs that I did not do well in any part of the interview process. One week later, I received an e-mail stating they I was rejected and they are going with a different candidate for it. This happened almost 2 weeks back, and the job is still available on their website. They just wasted my time, money, and energy. So disappointing experience.
