      Sales Development Representative Interview

      Jul 9, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Electric AI in Jun 2021

      Interview

The interview process was efficient and informative. Met with numerous members of the team virtually, who were all enthusiastic about the company and growth that they are experiencing. I was kept in the loop the entire time I was interviewing and every member of the team took the time to make sure all my questions were answered.

      Interview

First interview with Recruiter Written Assessment writing 3 emails for 3 different prospects in an account I chose Final interviews with BDR Managers Review: Most of the interview process was professional and great to go through but the one big negative is that once they made a decision not to hire, they ghosted. I understand not being a good fit or in at the right time but ghosting wastes a lot of time and is just unprofessional.

      Sales Development Representative Interview

      Jun 4, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Electric AI (New York, NY) in Jun 2020

      Interview

In all honestly had a stellar interview process, despite everything being remote and the economy what it is right now. The process consisted of a 1:1 with a Sr. Recruiter, who walked me through the process and was super transparent and helpful. I then did my "onsite" the next day with the SDR Manager, Sales Director and current SDR team lead, all back to back interviews for a total of 1.5 hours. I was then moved to the offer directly to which I accepted. I think my process was a bit quicker because I already had a previous offer on the table, normally it might take a little longer. For me it took about a week. Everyone I worked with / chatted with were super friendly / casual. It didn't feel like a tense, buttoned-up interview process where they grilled me, I had genuine and candid conversations with everyone. I felt like the questions they asked were easy enough to prepare for - just do your homework on who who you will chatting with so you can ask specific questions about their background and questions applicable to their role.

      Question 1

To go over my background, how I stayed organized at my previous company, what kind of prospecting tactics I used as a rep, nothing too difficult
