Enjoyable, but lengthy.
The first interview was with one of the managers in the company. He was very polite and really wanted to investigate my skillset. He offered many different suggestions of ways to further my skills and prepare for the job. I had some experience, but was also looking for such advice.
Little did I know, but the next time I would hear from him would be 6 weeks out. In the follow-up interview, he checked in on my progress to see if I had taken him up on his advice. Thankfully, I had. I was able to report my progress and learn more about the role.
I was able to tour their office and was very impressed. Generally there's the "hey, here's a candidate for the job, everyone act like you love your job" vibe, but here it was genuine. Real people that really liked what they did.
Overall, there were periods where I wasn't sure what happened to my application, or when the next call would be, or if I was still being considered. In the end, my experience with Eide was a pleasant one, and the career advice and interview experience was pleasant.
