I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Edison & T. (Norcross, GA) in Oct 2017
Interview
The position described online was not the actual job at all. Best fake front for a marketing firm I've ever seen. They look so legitimate! I've been able to successfully dodge and weed out companies that advertise for a specific position when it's actually a Costco sales job. The "events" they're having are actually you setting up and tearing down sales stands in Costco, Sam's and Walmart, as well as selling products. They operate on the tier system and say you should be an executive within 12 months. Real job positions do not operate like this. This is not the job of a PR Assistant. They are preying on graduates trying to get a job. While the people I dealt with were very pleasant, they attempted using smooth talking and fancy jargon to try and hide what the job actually is. They talked about how you're working in exposure, marketing, public relations and promotions but you're really a salesman. The third part of the job interview process is going to an "event" so they can see how you do. Basically, have you try to sell products, without getting paid. I declined the next step of the interview process.
