I applied online. I interviewed at Edinburg Center in Sep 2019
Interview
I was offered a phone interview and replied with my availability, letting them know that I was eager to speak with them and that I had a fair amount of available time. I never heard back from them even after reaching back out a second time.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Edinburg Center (Bedford, MA) in May 2019
Interview
Interview went really well. Was told that I had all the qualifications and exoerience they were looking for.
Received a telephone call with a job offer that Friday, asked for an official written job offer which they provided on Monday (with the wrong position-their words sorry for the typo) During my interview I asked if it was possible to see at least one of the houses. In this field it is always best in case you aren't a good fit for the clients. It was scheduled for Thursday.
Saw two programs and emailed to accept the position. Heard no response back. I called their recruitment agency (no actual HR department) and recieved an email stating that they were retracting the offer AFTER I had accepted the position and told them I had given my two weeks at my current job. Their reason, they felt I wasn't experienced enough....
My question is if you thought that why make a job offer at all.
Overall the interview itself went ok but this company showed how unprofessional they really are.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Edinburg Center (Waltham, MA) in Dec 2015
Interview
I went to a hiring “event”, I don’t remember exactly what it was called. I was there to apply to be a Case Manager but they forced me to apply for Health & Wellness Counselor—which paid less. After the group interview I immediately had an interview with the supervisor of the Health & Wellness program. At the end of the interview, she said “Great! As soon as we run the background check, it should take a couple weeks, we’ll be in touch and you can start working.”
Cut to FIVE MONTHS LATER after I called this company EVERY DAY for 3 months, left voice messages for the supervisor, left messages with the front desk, sent emails. I got NOTHING for 5 MONTHS. To be fair, I should have run screaming from this company due to this situation, there were red flags left and right, but this was back in 2011-2012 and the job market was terrible and I had to settle with the Edinburg Center.
