The company is deliberately slow to hire for the purpose of trying to make the best hires. Often, tradespeople (especially) are offered a PAID trial period after their initial interview to prove-out their skills; which very often candidates embellish and make false claims about. When employees are hired, they fall into a salary range based on their current skill level versus that of existing company employees within their same position category. The company wants to be fair and respectful of existing employees' advanced skill levels and longer tenure (and loyalty) with Edgewood Properties. Certainly, there are salary negotiations between candidates and the company within pre-determined salary ranges like most other companies.
