Eclipse California interview questions

Interview process was not the best. First off, they responded extremely fast. We set up a zoom interview but they never disclosed it was going to be a group interview. I was very surprised I was with 2 other applicants. They did not talk about the specifics of the position or compensation. They very extremely vague. They asked us the same question and it was kind of annoying since you are trying not to say something similar to the other applicants. Felt more like an initiation. They also did not open the floor for applicants to ask questions. Overall felt very rushed. The "second interview" was the very next day which I let them know I would not be able to attend due to my current full time position. They said they would accommodate and offered me an interview for the day offer, which they never ended up confirming and ghosted. I definitely dodged a bullet with this one.

They advertise the job postings as "OC Telecommunications" on zip-recruiter (with no website for OC Telecommunications), the purpose of this is so that people aren't able to research reviews about them until after they go to an interview. They also wont let you know the base salary for the position because that too is also a disappointment and from what I hear ends up more or less being a commission only position. The reason they hide all of this information is so they can basically sell you on working this position by using other manipulative language. I have seen other companies do similar as it is very difficult to hire a salesperson to go door to door for commision only. they do offer a choice for a base salary plus commission but it is extremely low, and typically they will not move forward with a person that chooses that method of pay. They want you to sell with no risk on their part. They promise opportunity for advancement after success in selling their product, believe me the advanced opportunity in this scheme is basically the owner of the companies position. This is the epidemy of a turn and burn sales or "direct marketing" position. Best part is they have (probably the owners wife) someone that will respond to all the negative reviews to make them out to seem as if they care. If you don't mind sales door to door, just sell something working for yourself or go work for a solar company. It really make sense to me now why they advertise themselves as OC Telecommunications instead of Eclipse. P.S. It looks like most of the good reviews are likely fake ones created by them or a friend of theirs trying to help them out.
