A third party recruiter approached me with the opportunity of Staff Software Engineer position. There were 4 rounds in total:
1- Engineering Manager assessing my skills and fit for the role (passed)
2- CodeSignal programming challenge (passed)
3- CodeSignal System Design challenge (passed)
4- Staff Engineers discussing about past projects (passed)
After assessing me for the Staff Software Engineer position they offered Senior Software Engineer position and it was completely out of the blue as I performed well according to their criteria. After conducting 4 rounds of interviews they responded that we can offer you with Senior Software Engineer position only. Negative experience with this company.
