I recently went through a three-stage interview process with Eames Group, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired.
The first round was a one-way interview with fairly comprehensive questions. While that format is fine, the process already felt quite demanding upfront.
The second round was a face-to-face interview with a manager. It was only communicated to me two hours in advance. This didn’t allow for adequate preparation and felt inconsiderate.
The third round was with the manager’s manager, and while both conversations were professional on the surface, the overall process lacked structure and clear communication.
After completing all three stages, I received no feedback or formal outcome. They simply went quiet.
Ghosting a candidate after multiple rounds reflects poorly on a company’s respect for candidates. Clear communication, even if it’s a rejection, should be standard at this stage.
