Advert placed in local paper. Called in prior to seeing the advert to present a folio of work. Responded to the advert with a formal letter of introduction and application including a resume. Followed up with a phone call regarding the application process and then participated in a formal interview presenting my folio and answering questions about my previous workplace employment, skills and aspirations. After three weeks, I hadn't heard so I called and due to a busy period, they hadn't had time to make a selection although was advised I was amongst the final three candidates. Was called a week later to make an appointment to be formally offered the position.
