I applied for the position via email and, two weeks later, received a follow-up email with a set of questions. I was asked to respond to these questions and send my answers back, which wasn't specified in the original job application. A few weeks after submitting my responses, I was invited to an interview. The interview was divided into two parts: a task-based assessment and a panel interview. The task-based portion was relatively straightforward, involving basic project management skills such as reviewing a dataset and drafting follow-up emails. The panel interview had a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere, and the team seemed quite overwhelmed with their workload, which made them appreciate my profile even more.
The interview took place on a Thursday, and they informed me that I would receive a response by the following Monday. However, three weeks passed without any communication, prompting me to email them for an update. They replied, stating that they had chosen another candidate. I found this lack of communication quite rude, especially after investing so much time into the process.
