I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Dynon Avionics (Woodinville, WA) in Sep 2015
Interview
1. Non-technical phone screen with hiring manager.
2. Technical phone screen with hiring manager and VP of engineering, answer electrical design questions shared via email attachment during call.
3. On-site interview with CFO, CEO, President, VP of Engineering, Systems Architect, then group interview with entire hardware team (~15 people)
On-site went very well, excellent conversations with all team members, hands-on with product, and felt that we had established a very good fit.
Two weeks then elapsed and I followed up three times before being told they had been impressed, but did not have the budget to hire any engineers at the moment. Very frustrating oversight and loss of time.
