Interview
After submitting my application as an extremely experienced agent and area expert I had a call scheduled with a rep that reviewed the position, options and even followed up with me a day or so later expressing how excited and interested they were with me joining the team. Many emails followed with answers to my questions, state updates, paperwork sent and that they were eager to get me started as they had several upcoming programs.
Upon beginning the onboarding process, doing checks of licensure, background, broker certification, etc I was abruptly informed out of the blue that they would not be proceeding forward with the rest of my onboarding. After 2 emails to the recruiter asking the reason I was ghosted with not even a courteous reply as to why they had elected not to proceed.
As a note, I am a professional and licensed real estate agent in my area that have passed state background checks, criminal checks, fingerprinting and everything that is required by the state to obtain a license. Additionally I have also had security clearance with a previous position so there would have been nothing that would have come up on my background checks. I have never been convicted of any crimes nor do I have any black marks on my background. My broker also verified and confirmed that I would receive payments through the brokerage so I was a bit dumbfounded as to the cause of this denial and the fact that they would not even reply is very unprofessional.
I now understand why the company gets bad reviews even before doing any work for them. I will seek out a competitor that will hopefully have better and proper business acumen and I urge others to do the same.
Very professional i enjoyed it. The interviewer was really attentive and gave great feedback about the job and what it would entail should i was hired. When the call started it was at an easy going pace the whole time.
