Downtown Music Publishing interview questions

Very chill interview. The hiring manager didn’t ask many questions—instead, they wanted me to ask most of them. Be prepared with at least 4–5 thoughtful questions, especially around company culture and team dynamics.

The interview process was smooth. I went through 3 rounds of interviews: first a phone screener, then 2nd interview with the hiring manager, then a 3rd interview with the wider team at FUGA. Everyone was really kind and interested in what I had to say. Sadly, with the acquisition of Downtown by Universal Music Group, all open jobs were removed from the company's Greenhouse job portal and other job boards. I suspect it's due to a newly instituted hiring freeze, and the job I had been interviewing for appears to have been impacted by it. Again, this is just my personal opinion based on publicly available information. It would have been really nice to work with Downtown, they seemed like a really nice team.
