I applied through university. I interviewed at Dow
Interview
The interview was a standard interview with the usual questions and lasted approximately one hour. Even thought the interview was for a student employment position, the questions were the generic questions asked of any candidate. The experience was made better by engaging the interviewers and asking them questions. If the interviewee has a positive attitude and clearly articulates thoughtful answers to questions, they are likely to leave a positive impression.

Question 1
Give an example of a group project in which one of the members was not contributing. How did you handle the situation?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Dow (Plaquemine, LA)
Interview
Mechanical engineering student here. Basic STAR behavioral interview. I recommend reading through Dow’s company values and emphasizing them during your interview. After the STAR questions, the interviewer showed me a diagram with a tank, some piping, supports, material info, etc and asked how I would troubleshoot a leak.

Question 1
Basically like “tell me about a time when you worked with a difficult team member, how did you resolve the issue?” STAR questions
Average for a student interview from a career fair, the panel was nice and asked reasonable and relevant questions. Pervious work experience was a major plus, primarily looking for rising Juniors or current sophomores.
Got selected for interview 3 weeks after applying. Interview was through webex with a panel. Was hard to interact with the 4 people since they all sat around a table and you couldn't make out their features. They were hiring for 3 positions so first each person went through theirs then they welcomed questions.
