The panel was very stoic. They were quick to pick apart my background. Focused on the duration it took to complete my degree (which was completed 3 years ago), not taking into consideration that each individual's life situations are different. Compared the real estate job I had full time while in university full-time is "not the same standard of measuring success like accounting". So much for having a diverse and inclusive culture that the company promotes.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dow (Fort Saskatchewan, AB) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interviewers (all members of upper management) were absolutely rude - they asked me why it took me 6 years to earn my Bachelor's Degree, even though I had explained earlier in the interview, and was indicated on my resume/CV that I worked a full-time job while being a full-time student. I was also in the workforce for 4 years at this point. Not sure how the question was relevant.
