      People Operations Partner Interview

      Jun 19, 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at DoiT

      Interview

The recruitment process consisted of: 1. Application review 2. Screening 3. Interview with the CPO This is how far I got. The screening was a very pleasant experience. The interaction was very relaxed and felt almost informal, like a chat with a friend. I was made feel so at ease that I was really able to show my true self. The Talent Partner told me all I needed to know about the role, the team, the company and it made me even more excited about the opportunity. The second interview was also a very pleasant experience albeit I did not pass it due to my own mistake. Also quite relaxed, very conversational, even the behavioural questions were tailored to the conversation in such a smart way that it still felt as part of a conversation, very smooth. Despite me not passing this part, I am still so grateful to have had a chance to interview as it made me realize that I have spent too much time trying to say what I thought was expected of me to say as opposed to express my own believes and opinions. This experience also helped me realize how my believes are not aligned with the very formal processes in my current organisation which now I know is the main reason for me to be looking for a new role. I had a chance to reflect and will take on the feedback future interviews and be more open about what I think is right from the HR perspective but also as an individual and an employee.

      Question 1

Talk me through your experience to date - a lot of follow up questions came in after that which were related to the experience and different elements of the People Operations Business Partner job specification.
