I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Discovery Machine (Williamsport, PA) in Jun 2019
Interview
Process was simple but very detailed. I went through a recruiting company so I was not in contact with someone directly from Discovery Machine until the companies phone interview. I did have an initial interview with the recruiting company, but that was very simple and short. The companies initial interview was about 2 hours long altogether and was very detailed. I had a good interviewer so it was not hard to have a conversation and joke around with them.

Question 1
There was a lot about Java concepts. I'm sure these change based on the different interviews, but I was asked mostly about polymorphism and inheritance.

Interview
I applied online and received an email with questions about my experience in different technologies. Made it to the first phone interview that consisted of semi-technical and personality questions. The next interview was a whiteboard challenge style interview where your knowledge is tested. They then asked me to schedule what I assume is the last interview where you have to present for a group of people. This was where I had to decline it because I accepted an offer elsewhere, but I would like to think that if the presentation went well, I may have been offered a job.
The entire process was pretty positive. The interviewers really want to help you pass if they see potential but you do need a good foundation. They are also really fun to talk to which eases the pressure a bit and made it feel more casual. You don't feel like you are being interrogated like some other places do.

I applied online, was contacted by HR and scheduled a phone interview with the VP of software development for the following week. The phone screen consisted mainly of questions about projects on my resume, and basic Java/OOP/SQL questions
