The application process was pretty easy. Because I have over 6 years experience, I am careful not to apply for jobs that I know are going to bring my pay down. Had a very good first interview in which my salary expectations were not an issue. After a week, I get an email saying the max for the job is now $10,000 less than I am making now. Its pretty hard to believe they didn't know the pay grade when they started interviewing. Just feels very slight of hand.
