Overall, the process was straightforward, but it included several interview rounds that felt excessive considering this was an entry-level assistant role, especially given the responsibilities and compensation for this position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deutsch LA (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview process felt fairly easy and low-stress, consisting of roughly three straightforward rounds where they focused mainly on fairly generic, standard interview questions about experience, background, and situational problem-solving.

Tell me about a time you faced a challenge and how you handled it.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deutsch LA in May 2024
Interview
I had 3 rounds of interviews. They contacted me first to confirm my availability, and then I met a senior designer. The last round is with the head of design. At first they said if HR department approves, they would give me an offer. However, the HR was extremely ignorant and rude when they learned that there was a delay in my EAD card printing, and even though I said I could meet their timeline(and I did receive my EAD car in time), they hired another American citizen instead.
