I applied online. I interviewed at Dearborn Public Schools
Interview
Very relaxed 5 person interview, gave a sheet with questions so I could prepare a little bit. Everyone had one question prepared for me and gave me plenty f
of time to answer.
I interviewed at Dearborn Public Schools (Newton, MA)
Interview
Inviting and provided a lot of information. Not only making sure you’re a good fit but if they are a good fit for you. Great experience all around the board.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dearborn Public Schools (Dearborn, MI)
Interview
At a job fair I was told to put *willing to pursue ESL endorsement* on my resume to get an application. That helped me to stand out among other applicants. Most often Dearborn likes to hire former students to work in their district, or knowing someone who works there is helpful. I was called in for an interview at one school, teach a lesson in front of a room full of teachers/panel. They went with another candidate but forwarded my resume to another principle. They reached out to me to ask me to teach a short lesson to a classroom of students that were there for summer school. I was asked to provide resources for a mixed aged group of students. I was provided a projector/ computer but to bring in my documents on a flash drive. Following the lesson I taught I was asked some follow up questions from the principle.
