Three phone calls- mostly just asked about your experience, nothing too difficult, just make sure you are decent at writing essays if you are an intern because they ask you to write an essay
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Dealflicks (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2014
Interview
Started with a Skype interview which eventually lead to an in-office interview in Los Angeles. It started with a few one-on-one interviews. Each interviewer gave an overview of their position. Then a group interview with the other potential candidate. The interview process ended with a mock sales pitch in which my knowledge of the company and my sales skills were tested.

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dealflicks (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Highly unprofessional. The process took 4 weeks.I applied through AngelList. In 2-3 days got a phone interview call from CEO , he asked about my background and projects(15mins).Next day i got a hackerrank challenge,it was pretty easy (MySQL and 2 coding question). In 2-3 days i got a call for onsite interview. It was conducted by product manager, software engineer(there is only one technical guy in team) and CEO(again projects and technology used),I was surprised when he asked do you have a MAC which you can use for company project(Are you serious????????),discussed salary,i was told in 4-5 days they will get back to me.After 4-5 emails they told me to get 3 references.Once i gave the references they were never contacted them. They are so unprofessional that they never responded to my emails afterwards.I would suggest not to waste time by interviewing at this unprofessional startup.
