The interviewer was eleven minutes late to my interview. They made it very clear we were short on time and seemed to fly through my interview. At the end, they promised they would connect with me the end of that week or early beginning of the following week. They did not. I followed up multiple times. I think it speaks volumes about a company when the hiring team can’t even reply to a candidate. A rejection is better than no reply at all.
When you ghost a candidate after an interview, you break their spirit. That candidate was excited to speak with YOU! You, the hiring manager!
It’s a shame. I was very excited about this position. As another reviewer said, they seem to have a habit of ghosting people.
