I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at DePronto Infotech in Mar 2025
Interview
I had total 4 technical interview rounds for SQL|Database developer role. It was truly horrible experience. HR was extremely unclear and confused throughout the process. They cancelled my third technical round 3 times. On one occasion as per HR's suggestion I joined call and I waited for 42 minutes for panel and after waiting hr told to drop off. Panel was always late and finally they scheduled my third tech round the interview lasted for a grueling 6 hours. It was incredibly difficult and genuinely felt that they were doing it purposefully. After a week hr told me I am not selected. Again after few days she told me I am selected and scheduled 4th technical round it lasted for 1 hour and it was good I almost answer all question HR kept me delaying a concrete result after few days they suddenly ghosted me. This entire process took 1.5 months and was most unprofessional and frustrating experience I have ever had. I was prioritizing this interview because it was remote opportunity. I wasted my time energy on this nonsense. and unfortunately I lost other opportunity because of it.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at DePronto Infotech in Sep 2024
Interview
The first round was an introductory session of 15 minutes, during which I described my current job role. Three days later, the second round took place, where the panel asked me to design an ERD. The panel seemed unsatisfied with my response and abruptly left the call. I even offered to answer questions related to SQL and DBMS concepts, but the interviewer declined and ended the call. After checking with a few people, I learned that the interviewer was actually the HR representative of the company and was conducting a technical interview. This has led me to question whether she had a strong understanding of SQL queries or database concepts.

Question 1
Just prepare for the ERD for the first round; the panel is not aware of anything else.
Thank you for the feedback as this helps us to highlight the process to prospective candidates. Proficiency in computer based tools is a must in our company as we are remote. Inability to use some of the basic tools like Word Doc hinders us as we need to use these software tools to collaborate and communicate with each other even if the role is that of a SQL Developer.
Also, while willingness to learn is a trait that is important, we will also ensure that majority of the basic requirements in the JD are being met. Meeting just a few is not setting up the candidate to succeed in their job. Please consider job interview as a two-way process where candidates are also assessing if the company is the right fit for them.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at DePronto Infotech (Mumbai) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview was scheduled for 15 min, But the panel took the interview only for 3 min and left the call without informing. The panel was very rude and was not letting me to talk.
When connected with the HR and I formed her regarding the panels behavior she apologized. The panel behaves rudely and someone else needs to apologize on their behalf.

Question 1
About projects we have created in current working if any or any major and minors etc.
Our initial rounds are for 15 mins to assess the role fit. We believe that candidates might possess technical skills but it is also important that there is a role fit and also some fundamental skills as we are remote working company. So, while the candidate might be apt for other places but not might be the right fit for our company and the role at hand. Inital short screenings are prevalent in various companies and reduced time is not a reflection on the candidate's ability.
One advice and request for prospective candidates is to come prepared and be able to communicate in a structured manner rather than take 15 mins to repeat what is already mentioned in their CV.
