I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dayton Public Schools (Dayton, OH) in Apr 2021
Interview
Virtual, with seven interviewers. Two-three HR, Principal, a teacher, and others. The head interviewer repeatedly stated that he would follow up either way (whether to continue interview process or to let me know they would. not continue process/offer job or let me know they would go with another candidate)--with three days--that he didn't like "to leave people hanging." It appeared none of the interviewers had read mny resume or cover letter based on their questions, the principal left the interview several times (once right as I was asking about the school climate). I sent emails to all who were in the interview to thank them for their time and that I looked forward to hearning from them. The principal responded with , "You're welcome" only and that was it. After repeating several times (very conspicuously )that they'd let me know within three days, no one let me know. One HR employee just sat there leaning back in a chair with arms folded and didn't say a word. A really strange interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked several times about what I do in my current classroom to address various things (differentiation, special needs, the usual).

Interview
I was called in a day after applying online. I sat down with three DPS employees and chatted about my career prior to the interview. They asked me some pretty expected questions as far as teaching interviews go. Everyone was friendly and it was an overall fun experience.
