I applied through university. I interviewed at DFS Marketing (Conroe, TX) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview went well. They basically said they had many things that needed to be done and wanted my help to manifest their project ideas. I was not asked questions about my qualifications or anything like that.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DFS Marketing (Conroe, TX) in May 2019
Interview
A hand shake and a "You're hired" with an agreed upon start date means nothing to this hiring manager. I am an IT professional who is familiar with a typical hiring process and usually that means you start a new job. Also, you give a 2 weeks notice to your current boss and then start on the agreed upon first day at the new job. The newly hired employee told him he was going to give a weeks notice and start on that agreed upon date. He had his last day at the current job and a farewell party. That night when he was preparing for his first day at DFS Marketing in Conroe Texas, he saw an email saying they will not need him. First of all, an email the day before starting the new job instead of a call when you have hired someone? Talk about disrespect. Then the guys says he didn't hire him, a bit Bipolar much? It should have been a red flag when we read the Glassdoor reviews online. The hiring manager said he never worked there before. Sounds very familiar with our case of "Your'e Hired" and then "I never Hired you". If you plan to interview here good luck. Very shady situation with the lies coming from this guy. I'm pretty sure the hiring manager is going to see this review and try to rebut this so go for it guy. Don't believe a word coming from his rebut below mine! This is called karma when you don't treat people right it comes back to you. Try to understand that respect of other people will get you much further in life.

It was pretty I spoke about my former job and that was it. They did most of the talking, primarily about the companies history and the founder himself. All I did was speak about previous experiences and thank them for the interview.
