Responded to brief posting on ZipRecruiter by recruiter in Ontario (Canada). Took Predictive Index (company relies heavily on this), had 30 minute phone interview with potential manager (discussed role and equipment), and then 2.5 hour plant tour and interview. Recruiter responded within a week that they did not want to make an offer. Job did not have a concrete description, plant did not have any women employees present, and no feedback was provided with rejection. Plant tour/interview was mostly just a plant tour and not really many interview questions. The potential manager said they have been looking for a while so given the high rate of unemployment currently and likewise a high amount of qualified candidates, they are probably looking for something very specific but I'm not sure what that is. I had about 6 years of experience with the equipment they used.
