I was originally contacted by an executive recruiter. I first met with the CTO, then the CEO. Next came a meeting with the head of HR. After that were 2 meetings to discuss my observations on their current marketing and my thoughts on future marketing opportunities. Afterwards came the offer and a bit of negotiation. Finally there was a meeting with one of the board members.
