This was one of the more frustrating and disheartening interview processes I’ve been through. The process dragged on for weeks, communication was slow throughout, and despite being taken through multiple rounds and asked to provide references, I ultimately got the impression that I was being kept warm while the company pursued another candidate.
As a disabled minority candidate, parts of the experience left me seriously questioning how inclusive the company actually is in practice versus how it presents itself publicly. Whether intentional or not, I did not walk away feeling respected or genuinely valued throughout the process.
What bothered me most was the lack of transparency and consideration for the amount of time and emotional energy candidates are expected to invest. If you are going to put someone through an extensive interview process and ask for references, there should be much better communication and decisiveness.
Overall, the experience felt performative, disorganized, and disappointing from a company that speaks so heavily about people and culture.
