30-minute discussion with a few of the managers at the location I applied for. They asked me basic questions about fitness and told me what the job would entail along with a brief facility tour. They got back to me within a few days with a job offer.
Apparently, it is an extremely competitive environment. The interview felt like an investigation. They are expecting someone to spend the whole day at the gym, even though I apply as a part-time trainer.
