I applied online. I interviewed at Cruise (Denver, CO) in Sep 2023
Interview
2 recruiter/tech screens 3 technical interviews 4 final round interviews The whole process took over 2 months to schedule and complete. They said they had an internal scheduling issue which prevented me from scheduling interviews for two weeks while I had an offer on hand.

Normal Questions: Walk through a past project System design decomp Normal Leetcode stuff Not so normal questions: An incredibly hostile behavioral interview from Andriy Savchenko on the Fleet team. Stay away.
The on-site felt like an interrogation not an interview. The hiring manager spent an hour grilling me on purely negatives. The interview felt like a waste of time, but it gave clear signals that this team at least is not a good working environment.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cruise (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2023
Interview
Don’t waste your time. Most interviews are fill in the blank as seen from reviews. They already have internal candidate selected. Contacted by recruiter with 1 screening and 4 onsite interviews. All interviewers were capable except the hiring manger. He lacked maturity and technical understanding. It was the best interviews I ever had but in the end got a canned rejection email with no feedback.
