The interview process at Crown had to be one of the longest that I have ever encountered. For me, I was contacted by a recruiter who conducted a 20 phone interview with me on April 7. The interview went well and I was told that she wanted to set up an interview with the general manager sometime next week.
A week goes by nothing so in contacted the recruiter back and inquired if the job was still available. She said that it was and she was surprised that the GM hadn't gotten back to me. another two weeks goes by and nothing so I gave up on the job. Out of the blue in mid may I got an email from the recruiter again saying that they wanted to schedule me for an Interview. I went to the interview and it went great and the gm says that He wanted to schedule me for a ride along with one of the drivers and then sit back down for a second interview with him and the owner of the company. He stated that he would be in touch. After sending my thank you letter for the interview a week goes by, then two . So i call again to ask if the job was still available. He said that it was and for me to have a little patience. It was not until mid July that I was invited back to take a wounderlick test and have the second interview.
Again the interview goes well and my hopes are extremely high at this point. 2 weeks goes by, then 3 I called again and the gm say that I am still a candidate for the job and they are going to be inviting applicants back for a 3rd interview at the end of the month ( end of August). 3 days later I received a letter in the mail thanking me for my interest in their company but they decided to go a different route.
Throughout the entire 5 MONTH interview process there was little to no communication. If this is how they treat potential applicants I am thankful that I did not get the job because I am sure the communication within the company is the same
