      Support Engineer Interview

      Dec 24, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Crossover for Work (New York, NY) in Dec 2020

      Interview

That was the most robotic, cold interview process I’ve ever done. It feels like you’re trying to get into a school or program and based on the reviews of the company it’s not even worth it. Not to mention they send u an automated message every day until you complete it. I just did it for fun but I feel bad for anyone who is actually looking to get a role here, chances are if you don’t pass this test they won’t even bother to look at your resume. For my fellow techs you’re better off putting that error into Microsoft, google, IBM. Good luck!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions are similar to that of an SAT test just a bit less difficult.

      Support Engineer Interview

      Jan 3, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Nairobi
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Crossover for Work (Nairobi) in Jul 2023

      Interview

A lot of non-human interviews process. Three different tests, with very high expectations and short duration to complete them. There was a cognitive test, a technical test just to mention a few.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Shelley has 7 dresses, 8 pairs of shoes, and 7 necklaces. If she wears one combination of clothes per day. How many days can she go without wearing the same outfit?

      Support Engineer Interview

      Aug 11, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Munich, Bavaria
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Crossover for Work (Munich, Bavaria) in Aug 2020

      Interview

Horrendous. The entire process takes 7 hours or more. None of the other applications I've made were this lengthy. The process is automated and unforgiving: one mistake and you're out. You'll be facing the screen and taking silly psychometric tests for hours before you get to talk to anyone. The worst part: the assessment part includes a 4.5 hour long "Real Work" part, which of course, includes no "Real Pay". Not cool of them to ask applicants to work for 4.5 hours for them for free.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

"Real Work": you are given a "real" task and are asked to solve it in 4.5 hours.
