1.) A few days after applying to the listing on the Corden Pharma careers page, I received a call from their HR recruiting. The cellular service was not very reliable, but we were able to confirm details over email
2.) I met the hiring manager a week later for a virtual interview.
3.) 2-weeks later, I visited for an on-site panel interview. The experience went very, very well, ending with us discussing the onboarding process. Estimating what my start date would be
4.) The Corden Pharma HR recruiter then reached out to me, requesting supervisor references. I provided her with 2. The HR recruiter could not reach my contacts so she requested more and insisted it was urgent a supervisor reference be given as soon as possible. I provided her with 5 more references and reached out to my initial 2 supervisors. I was able to connect with them easily. Both insisted they attempted to reach the HR Recruiter as well but only got her voicemail.
I tried to call the recruiter myself, but frequently got her voicemail as well. She would text me, asking to call me back later but she never did. She also insisted she never received my supervisors calls, despite the well know reality that the Corden Pharma office does not receive reliable phone service.
5.) After 3 weeks of on-and-off emails, silence, and voicemails. I was informed the department wants to remove the job listing so the job description can be revised.
Much wasted time, a disappointing experience,
