4 round stage
HR manager (admin vetting) -> direct manager -> sales leader -> country leader and colleagues.
Mostly focused around sales process, attitude, and character rather than applied knowledge of Confluent's technology
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Confluent (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jun 2022
Interview
overall friendly people. I didn't get a feedback for my performance - a solid yes or no - Ignored me/ didn't reach out to me to say that I haven't been accepted. I had first phone interview with a recruiter. a second VC interview with the hiring manager. a very tiring and demanding home assignment which took me about 7 hours to complete - built a territory plan, choose 10 account I will persuade, why? and focus on one of them? why? an opening email to the chosen account, whats my plan in the first 6 months working in the company. many many questions following the presentation about why should this aacount buy Confluent Cloud- whats their motivation, what can go wrong, why have I chosen the relevant stakeholders... (took about 1.5 hours) after that- a mock call with a customer which was the final stage

Question 1
I don't remember. I hope Ive contributed enough in the interview process. since there is a open source solution of Kafka, many of the questions were around the motivation of the customer to use the paid version (managed solution of Kafka) How do you handle objections, success story, share about numbers deals and revenue from my current role and success metrics.
Brief interview process. Management seems stale. A little undercooked. Needs some seasoning. They seem to miss the mark on the type of questions that they ask and seem very egocentric whenever interviewing.
Process was great. The managers really knew their stuff and asked in depth, thought out questions. Come prepared. Have to do a presentation as well as the 4th round. All in all it was a great process. I really respected the knowledge of the managers, and thought that they did a really good job guiding me.
