Grilled on background experience, they do check references. Chefs will have to do a cooking test with DM, corp chef, & maybe 1 other person in attendance. Be yourself and have your act together. You're interviewing them as much as they're interviewing you.

Jumped through many hoops...Started with a call from Compass's recruiter, online two hour test, written in person test, cooking test, interview with regional manager, then interview with unit manager, more paperwork, then drug test.
