I applied for a vacancy I saw online. A few days later a recruiter called, saying he'd like me to attend an interview. He didn't have a job spec to send me, or any written details about the role except the salary and that it was fully remote because the hiring manager had just come back from holiday so didn't have time to send him anything.
So I attended the interview where I met an arrogant man who was keen to put down both the recruiter and myself during the interview, which I thought was incredibly rude and made both him and the company he was representing look bad.
He explained that the salary I was told was incorrect, but did not tell me what the correct salary was. When he asked me if I had any questions he became angry because he didn't know the answers. This is why prepared people write such things down and send them to candidates before the interview.
I left the interview thinking I didn't ever want to see him again, let alone work with him.
Bullet dodged!
