      Intern Interview

      Feb 26, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Pittsburgh, PA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at College Works Painting (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jan 2017

      Interview

The interview consisted of 4 rounds. The first round was with the district manager that I would work under. We then had to contact 5 or more people who had done the internship in the past. If we liked what we heard we moved on to the next part of the process which was an hour long interview with the Vice President. The next interview was with another one of the companies executives. The final interview was with the Vice president again to see whether or not I would be offered the position and he told me at the end of the interview what his decison was.

      Interview

Accommodating to students, however interviewer turned unprofessional and hostile regarding means of transport that would be supplied personally to the position, which is when the interview process ended. Other than that, questions were relatively basic.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      East Lansing, MI
      Declined offer

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at College Works Painting (East Lansing, MI) in Feb 2020

      Interview

Very shady and suspicious. The interviewer purposely will hide as much information from you as possible. They lack transparency and try to mislead you as much as possible. The interview process felt like a waste of time and I am thankful that I did not accept the offer. They would not take no for an answer and tried to get me to accept and I had to block their number for them to leave me alone.

Q: Are you willing to come home each weekend during the semester to set up for the summer?
