Interview
First an aptitude exam was conduted which consisted of basic LR,Quant ,Verbal and very simple coding questions.
Interview:
Round 1: Technical Interview - Asked about projects that i had done till now. Few very simple coding questions.
I am a Computer Engineering Student. So the interviewer asked me the following Question : "Suppose you are the head of your institution and you have to select people from Computer Department and IT Department then whom will you give Preference ? IT or Comp branch? "
"Which branch according to you is better IT or COMP?"
The salary they were offering was quite less and they expected us to relocate to different cities in that salary.
Most of the people who had gone to HR before me were asked only 1 Question : "Relocation?"
If Yes then sign the form or else Leave.
Round 2: HR - Do you want to sign the form?
Two interviews with coding test and and aptitute test , pretty easy , aske about projects done and java oops questions also sql question , position was full stack developer
We had many rounds like 3 rounds before interview and interview was quite good. I got selected into cognizant as and programmer analyst trainee. I did not focus much on java, so due to that i Got 4 lpa
They asked very basic questions of reversing a string java basics and sql introduction and asked some data structures concepts finally few hr questions so on finally interviewer looks very strict interview got rejected
