The recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn requesting me to apply for the role and email her my resume. The next day she responded to my email with screener questions, we went back and forth for an hour. A few minutes later I was sent an automated rejection email. Why reach out if you are going to reject me before an interview? I did not receive a response from the recruiter. Recruiters have a terrible stereotype now because this is a common occurrence. It makes both them and the company look bad. Not to mention the waste of applicants time.
