I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at CodePath in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process was thorough and multi-stage. I had one phone interview with a recruiter, three individual interviews, and one panel interview. There was also a paid project component, which I appreciated — though the 10-hour cap didn’t quite reflect the actual time required. The second-to-last round involved presenting the project to the panel.
One challenge was the timeline: there was a five-week gap between my project presentation and the final interview with the CPO, which made it difficult to stay engaged and maintain momentum. Another was consistency; while the recruiters were proactive in providing prep questions ahead of each stage, the guidance often didn’t line up with the actual interview conversations.
On the positive side, everyone I met with was professional, and the inclusion of a paid project showed respect for candidates’ time and effort. That said, the process would benefit from stronger consistency between preparation materials and interview content, as well as a tighter overall timeline.
