While the interviewers were nice and clearly care about the company, the interview process is ridiculously long and drawn out. The process from my initial phone screening to an eventual rejection took 8 weeks. I was told by the hiring manager that I would hear back a week to a week an a half after the interview, and then received an email a month later. By that point, I'd decided that, due to poor communication practices, this company was not the right fit for me. It's a shame because they are a very reputable company and their employees seem to care about their success. Unfortunately, I've heard from others in the industry that this is a typical experience with applicants waiting weeks for a follow up.

I recently had the opportunity to interview with Coastal Ridge at their corporate office in Columbus, Ohio. For management positions, the process includes one-on-one meetings with members of the leadership team, which takes a few hours but is absolutely worth the time. These conversations allow the team to truly get to know you, while also giving you the chance to learn more about them and the company culture. The hospitality I experienced was among the best I’ve encountered during an interview process. Even though I was not offered a position, the interaction left a very positive impression. It is clear that Coastal Ridge invests significant time and effort into building a strong management team, and that level of commitment reflects a workplace culture where employees can feel like family.
