I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Washington, DC) in Jan 2012
Interview
The hiring process was relatively quick, based on previous employment experience.
I applied for the position via Craiglist ad. It was geared towards recent college graduates. I filled out a standard online application asking for previous employment history and a resume.
A representative from CoStar's HR department then emailed me a brief questionnaire about professional experience, ethics, and interest level in commercial real estate.
HR then contacted me to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview consisted of questions such as:
"Tell me about yourself"
"Why CoStar Group?"
"What do you know about commercial real estate?"
"Do you have any experience working in a performance-metric environment?"
"Tell me about a work experience where you had a to meet a challenging goal"
I applied online. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Richmond, VA)
Interview
Extremely lengthy. 4 stages over about 2 months. Panel interview that took 6 hours. One panelist did not show and added another interview stage. Due to length, I found a better offer and declined after finally getting to an offer.

I applied through university. I interviewed at CoStar Group (London, England)
Interview
The interview was very professional and they really need you to know the role and company inside out they want a background on your experience as well and im not sure what else
Basic interview, that lasted one or two instances. Shadowed researcher and made some calls with the interviewer. The whole process was quick and lasted less than a month, average difficulty overall for the process.
