I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Cloudbeds (Buenos Aires) in Sep 2019
Interview
1) One way video recording.
2) Test task and
3) Technical interview
4) Interview with hiring manager
This was one of my worst experiences interviewing. Not for the people, because the recruiter was nice and also the developer that interviewed me, but after I put a lot of effort in the task, testing all edge cases I thought of, making a nice UI, etc, I was told that this position was moved to US based recruiters that "were hired yesterday" so they will put on hold all Americas-based positions for a week, and then they will contact the candidates.
Two weeks passed and nothing.
So overall this was a waste of time and I don't recommend you taking time from your family or study to fo this task. If you want, here's my github repo to download it. github com/JorgeSivil/cloudbeds
Test task is about being able to book hours with a specific price, called intervals and with some bussiness rules like merging if they have same price and time overlaps.
I feel that this way of treating candidates is so disrespectful, but the best thing I can do is to warn other candidates, because I did great in the task and in the technical interview, yet I was left without response after all the effort.
I will put the one way video interview questions in the other section.
